Found A Cool Website You Might Like!

I must be honest, I do not have an arsenal of cool websites that I visit and I am currently not in the habit of searching for fun websites when I have free time. So I did what any self-respecting mom would do ........ ask her technologically infatuated kids.  Thankfully, they were happy to help and after sifting through a few of their suggestions, I settled on "Locals Project" which in their own words is
"A Storytelling Agency".

When you visit their website localsproject.com you can read more about their purpose and mission but suffice it to say, they are a very close group of designers, photographers and filmmakers that bring peoples journeys to life. They utilize their collective fine tuned skills to create a website that is not only a visual extravaganza but also an articulate narrative that captivates and inspires. The stories are not about ordinary people, oh no,  these people are unique, passionate adventurers and artists  and their stories will make you smile.  This is what makes this website so distinctive.

The site itself is well designed with clean lines, straightforward navigation and clever content and links.  The photo's and videos will blow you away because they literally make you feel as though you are present in that story.  The website is uncomplicated and is not spoiled with popups, banners and various other annoying advertisements. It does however utilize cutting edge web design practices, including responsive design!  Hurray!  I am still very much a novice in the land of web development but near as I can tell there are numerous style sheets, javascript and meta tags that make it all come together in a visually pleasing style.

Take the time to read a story or two on this website, it'll make you feel somewhat zen and you can enjoy some really clean design techniques.  Double bonus -  Enjoy!
